Drosera burmannii is a small species of sundew widespread in the Asian continent.
The appearance is very peculiar, and is characterized by the high speed with which its tentacles close to the prey. Unlike temperate Droseras, it is an annual plant that performs its life cycle over 1-2 years. Its flowers are self-pollinating, and produce many seeds, which have to be harvested every year, so that they can be planted early in the spring. Although the seeds are very small, they have a very high percentage of germination.
